Sri Muthumariamman Temple

Sri Muthumariamman Temple in Hannover stands as one of the first Hindu temples established in Northern Germany. Founded in 2009 with the support of numerous members and patrons, the temple is operated by the Tamilischer hinduistischer Kulturverein e.V. (Tamil Hindu Cultural Association) and is dedicated to the supreme Hindu goddess Muthumariamman. The temple offers daily worship services with prayer times at 12:00 and 18:00, and remains open from 11:00 to 13:00 and 17:00 to 20:00 every day. Throughout the year, the temple celebrates important Hindu festivals including Aadi Amavasya, Aani Uthram, and Thiruvempavai, providing the community with opportunities to observe traditional religious practices.
