India-France Association (InFra)

The India-France Association, known as InFra, was established to serve as a vital cultural bridge between India and France, fostering deep connections within the Indian expat community residing in Paris and across the Île-de-France region. Born from a vision to celebrate and preserve Indian heritage while embracing French culture, InFra has become a cornerstone institution for Indians living in France, offering a welcoming space where tradition meets contemporary cross-cultural exchange. The association embodies the spirit of unity, bringing together professionals, families, students, and artists who share a common bond with India. InFra offers a rich tapestry of cultural programmes designed to nurture the Indian identity while promoting Franco-Indian friendship. The association organizes cultural events celebrating Indian festivals, classical and contemporary arts performances, language classes in Hindi and regional Indian languages, educational seminars on Indian history and philosophy, and networking gatherings for professionals. Through film screenings, culinary workshops, music and dance programmes, and youth engagement initiatives, InFra creates meaningful opportunities for community members to connect with their roots while building lasting relationships within the vibrant Parisian Indian diaspora. For Indian expat families in Paris, InFra represents more than a cultural organization — it is a home away from home where shared values, traditions, and aspirations come alive. The association serves as a vital support network for newcomers adjusting to life in France, a platform for second-generation Indians to explore their heritage, and a meeting ground for cross-cultural dialogue that enriches both the Indian and French communities. Whether you are seeking to celebrate Diwali with fellow Indians, learn classical dance, network with professionals, or simply find a sense of belonging in the City of Light, InFra welcomes you into a warm, inclusive community that honors the past while embracing the future.
