Montreal Marathi Mandal (MMM) is a non-profit cultural organization born from the dreams of Marathi-speaking families who arrived in Montréal with memories of Maharashtra in their hearts and a deep desire to stay connected to their roots. Far from the familiar lanes of their homeland, these pioneering families envisioned a community where traditions would thrive, laughter would echo, and future generations could proudly say 'Ho, aamhi Marathi!' What began in living rooms with a few families longing for the vibrant colors of Ganesh Utsav, the joyous voices of Diwali faral, and the comforting sound of their mother tongue has grown into a thriving symbol of unity, tradition, and hope in the multicultural landscape of Québec. Montreal Marathi Mandal brings together families, students, children, artists, and elders through a rich tapestry of cultural, social, and educational initiatives. The organization celebrates Maharashtra's heritage through grand festival gatherings including Ganesh Utsav and Diwali, cultural performances featuring drama, dance, and dhol-tasha, summer picnics, and language preservation programmes.
